Description
Produced by August Engkilde,
"...Kaotic Brain continues where "Police Beat Box" on Cheap ended!
A stunningly good record! It´s densly layered and even after repeated listening one discovers new aspects. A framework of well crafted grooves, hard-swinging bass-lines, combined with noise and apparent chaos in change with dark sound collages, melancholic chords - in between snatches of friendly melodies, a brass orchestra and weird sounding instruments.... everything is perfectly arranged, produced and mixed with sure instinct/ viel fingerspitzengefühl. This album could be the best work we have heard from August Engkilde so far........ We will stay curious for the forthcoming releases. Welcome to the "Club of good music".

"...Next-Level-Teo-Macero..."
"...In comparison Engkildes tracks find their foundations in mighty rhythms
though. From the reggaeskank of "Chinese Factory Outlet: Orange" to the
blubbery minimalbeats of "Dragon After Horse": All the pieces are suitable
for dancing as a matter of fact...."
"...And sounds - compared to so many others - never just like
an update of the usual sounds but completely peculiar...."
